A Birthday and some other things

Our very dear Boy Three, truly the life of our party, has turned six. He has been a gift from God for our good in so many ways. Our prayer is that we might raise him up for God's glory and for the good of the world.

"I just love birthdays--especially mine!"

"Arrrggggh. Yo ho ho ho."

Make a wish and take a deep breath!

Fixin' to open a present from our neighbor boy, Mr. Skeleton.

The Dreaded Pirate Runny-nose.

Who are you lookin' at, buddy?

Good buddies now.

">Whose idea was this?

Peanuts--yum!

"Me, in any other hair, am still as sweet."

Proof that it has snowed here--and that Boy One actually does own more than one long-sleeved shirt. (Practically every single other picture of him on this whole blog is in the same OSU sweatshirt!)

An Annual Tradition

Here is one of our yearly traditions that we've done since our firstborn was a baby--pictures in the leaves. And every year that we have a new baby, that baby always wears the very same Winnie-the-Pooh coat that Boy One made famous thirteen years ago. I took the pictures pretty quickly this year, so they're not masterpieces or anything. (But the kids are, of course!)

And here are some shots from our tour of the Air Force Museum on Saturday.

Boys like to ponder rockets.

Little girls can get sleepy at Air Force museums.

And everyone's favorite "exhibit"--the penny drop.

Heading Off To Vote

I'm going to post quick and then head off to vote. It's always kind of exciting, I think. Boy Three doesn't share the feeling though apparently, because when I woke him up this morning and told him we were going to vote today he announced (a bit grumpily), "Well, I'm not going to vote for anybody!" OK, then.

And now here we have our weekly set of Sunday photos, some taken at church and some during Boy One's fencing lesson.

Cute little Boy Four. We were out of the service for a nursing break, and I just couldn't resist snapping a quick photo.

Boy Two loses a tooth during church, and demonstrates his new trick.

What I see when I turn around.

Me with some very handsome men.

My girls.

Ahhh, the ballet.

Coming soon: The annual leaf photos.
