Our Summer So Far

OUTER BANKS VACATION

At the end of June we went to the Outer Banks with our parents and my brother and his family. A wonderful time was had by all.

Stopping by Grandma J's house in Knoxville to pick her up, the younger boys visit with their favorite little doggy.

Boy Four is always up for a bit of traveling.

The beach-front house we rented.

Cousins.

LET'S GO OUT TO THE BEACH!

Watching the waves roll in.

Brothers.

Uncle and the children.

Cute little digger.

Boy Three and his bird friend.

My dear girls.

That's one sandy baby.

Big Sister and Little Brother.

Sandy brothers.

Girl Two flies a kite.

Grandpa relaxing after a bit of fishing.

ON OUR DAY TRIPS

Our group on Roanoke Island, remembering the Lost Colony.

Outside the Elizabethan Gardens.

Barbeque restaurant.

At the Wright Brothers monument at Kitty Hawk. The text is quite a hats off to humanism, IMHO.

Our anniversary dinner with my bro and sis-in-law.

Grandma J and Boy One on the ferry to Ocracoke Island.

Grandma N and Boy Four waiting at the go cart track.

Girl One and I waiting at the bumper boats.

Our whole group at the Cape Hatteras lighthouse. Yeah, I know, you can't see the top. But at least you can see us people.

Boy and Girl One at the track.

BIRTHDAY AT THE BEACH

Let me at it!

Oh, yeah!

Thank you all for coming to my party.

Ah, surrounded by my adoring siblings.

CHRISTIAN FAMILIES AT THE CROSSROADS
What an inspiring conference!!!

I was able to meet some cyber friends in person.

Girl One (2nd from left) makes some new friends.

Girl Two and her sweet little friend.

Boy One has no trouble meeting people either.

This mother had to face the fact that her younger boys (and the friend they chose) were the wildest ones there. Definitely food for thought.

T-BALL SEASON COMES TO AN END

Boy Three and Neighbor Friend show off their medallions.

CHORAL CAMP AT ROSEDALE BIBLE COLLEGE

Boy and Girl One head off to choral camp.

Compare it to this one from their first year. Aww, so sweet!

Daddy shows those campers how it's done.

Boy One and some camp friends.

All of our six, as classical musicians and a young fan.

AND NOW WE TURN TO NEIGHBORHOOD BIBLE CLUB, WHICH WAS HELD NEXT DOOR.

Crazy hair day.

Hat day.

THE ONE-YEAR OLD PORTRAIT

Cute pose. We might use this one.

Or this one.

I think this means we've had enough. So, that's all, folks.
